The I.P.D Orthopaedic Centre runs a residential school and vocational training for physically and mentally challenged children and adults. They come from very poor economic backgrounds mostly with single parents. We also have a pre-school for hearing impaired children. There are over 120 mentally challenged residents and more than 50 day scholars who benefit from our special education, vocational training, and free occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech therapy.
