Emergency Fundraiser!

Epson Narah, a 5-month-old baby boy from Assam, arrived at Apollo Children's Hospital, Chennai, 2 months ago.

Upon arrival, he had wet gangrene of his left foot and had to have a below-knee amputation. This procedure ended up causing a severe bacterial & fungal infection for which he was given numerous medications intravenously for weeks.

But, Epson had to be admitted a second time - for a septic shock. Epson had to undergo prolonged treatments against fungal infection using high-end and costly medications to treat this.

And then, unfortunately, came his third admission. He came in with a high spiking fever and was found to have an immunodeficiency condition called Chronic Granulomatous Disease. And to cure this, he will have to undergo a Bone Marrow Transplantation and eventually need a prosthesis for his left lower limb.

Epson and his family will be staying in Chennai for the next 6 months to enable him to go through these treatments, and you can help them pay for Epson's treatments to get him healthy again!
